The Kmise crunch distortion can be found on ebay for under $20.00 USD.
At first I tried it with my open-back combo amp and it was super bright and hard on the ears. Then tried it with my 4x12 half stack, the cabinet made the difference. It can get a great lead tone, also be dialed in for an awesome rhythm chug with killer sustain.
I have several distortion and overdrive pedals on my board, this one earned it's velcro for sure.
